Sounds obvious but this has to be a player who bats in the top order, in a team that is going to be at the back end of the tournament and has to play spin very well. Kohli has been India's most consistent run scorer in the past 6 months. With Sehwag, Tendulkar and Ghambhir all coming back from injury and playing very little in the past 12 months, think Kohli is decent bet here.

The middle order batting last night was laughable.

But why does Pointing needing 50 runs off 90 balls go for a slog sweep accross the line where the commentator says "that is completely out of chaacter".....and gets out....

Mitchell Johnson looked very confortable.Aus needing 40 runs off 80 balls and he runs down the wicket, tried to hit it for 6 and gets out......

Just looking purely at behavior and there were some very irrational behavirous in this game......
