The saffers travelling well at 3 for 195 after 40 overs.  At this rate they would be dissapointed to achieve anything less than 250, which on this ground should be a winning total - particularly with this Australian batting order.  Despite the curators efforts, the ball should play a few tricks under lights at Newlands.  It appears as if the highest winning chase at this ground was 258 by the home team against NZ, with 69 from 'ol Jonty.  Good luck all.

Kallis and AB really got away from Australia which basically sealed the deal. Chasing 290 under lights in Newlands, pretty much no chance

Floodlight failure

Ferguson really does look like a good prospect. Off side play is top shelf

This has been a decent chase by the Aussies,as you mentioned earlier it was pretty impossible from the start to chase that kind of score at this ground
