Thinking about riding the fairytale with the Bulls @ $2.30.
No Nannes and possibly no Harwood for the Vics.
Gun, what's your thoughts?

Howdy AB. The Vics can cope with the loss of Nannes, but Harwood is vital to their chances of success in this match. If he is in, I believe the Vics bowling attack will be too much for the Bulls, especially if they bat like they did on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Noffke is out for the Bulls and he is a big loss. Symonds is in, and imo I feel that is negative for the Bulls as it is likely to mean that Perren is left out. Symonds won't bowl, and he'll probably get no more than 20-30 runs.
With Hussey and White back in the lineup (not impressive at National level but should fire here) I'm going to back the Bushrangers. Batting first will be a large advantage though.

To press that point on Noffke, he has taken 6 wickets so far this season at economy of 3.87. They have also missed Harris who took 9 wickets at economy of 4.12. I just don't see how they can contain the Victorian batting lineup - unless Carseldine can hit a century, I don't think they'll come close enough to the Vic total.

Predictably impatient, Symonds is out for 23. Never know AB, the Bulls did bowl the Vics out for 90 odd the other night, but you'd have to say anything less than 200 will be a walk in the park for the Bushrangers.

Queensland do well to post 187 after a top order collapse (being 5 for 56), defendable. The Bulls will require a mammoth bowling effort from their quicks (Rimmington and Laughlin) to replicate their effort from a couple of weeks ago when they bowled Victoria out for 95 at this ground. However, the Victorian batting order is decidedly stronger than from that match (Rogers, Hussey and White the inclusions) and the pitch seems to be in good order with a fast outfield.
The Bushrangers should be the FRC Champions in 2009, the Shield final could be an issue though with McKay (hand and back) and Harwood (ankle) injured in this match on top of the injury to Nannes - the Vics bowling stocks will be tested.

wow, the Bulls fugging won !? 
Turned my car radio off and put the ipod on when the vics were within 30 or so with plenty of balls left and three wickets in hand and sounded like they'd steadied.
Geez AB, that must've strained every fibre of your being spending the last half a day rooting for a Queenslander to win ?
I mean don't all Novocastrians still walk around wearing those "Wally Busters" t-shirts from 1988 ?!
