Fev and Pakies match fixing

Anyone else catch the match fixing allegations in todays Daily Telegraph? Now I am not sure if they are a well and truly shit, have been  throwing games or both

...... anyone got the photo of Lara Bingle ?

Butt told the News of the World: "We suspect two of our players are involved in match-fixing, but until we get a report from our inquiry committee I will not say anything more."

Later he told local journalists the International Cricket Council provided them with "definitive proof" that two players had been involved with match-fixing

WOW - i was just telling some mates a couple of weeks ago that i thought his actions were didgy in the Sydnet test.....

Pictures of Bingle are nothing special...

I seriously doubt any one player would / could attempt to "throw" a match, especially a wicket keeper in a test match. You'd need quite a few players in on a fix like that.

Where I think individuals can have an influence is on the myriad of "spread" betting options they seem to have on the sub continent. A missed chance here or there could certainly help player 'x' score over a certain amount or outscore player 'y'

If the allegations are proven I'd be interested to see what the do.

The flipside in some perverted logic is that the match fixing came up to deflect attention form the fact that the team as a whole was shit.

The biggest and most unexpected action is the implementation, in effect, of life bans on Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan, a wholly unexpected development. Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan have been banned for a year and the Akmal brothers and Shahid Afridi will be put on probation for six months and have been fined between Rs 2-3 million for various misdemeanours

what a fcuking mess

There is so much about Pakistan Cricket and Pakistani Cricketers that we as Aussies just could never begin to understand. Its a totally different world they live and play in.

Do you think I could ring up my various online books and ask for a refund for everytime I backed those fuckwits during the summer?

i thought they were making this shit up to deflect from their poor summer.

Triple whammy now. it reinforces that the Pakies are cheaters, their best players are out of the team and no doubt the Indian cricket is going to love going up against them knowing the above too.

We should launch a class action

I had already spent my winnings from them in the Sydney Test by day 3
