None as in zero medals of any colour so far in the Olympics. It is what, day 7 and the Canucks have been shut-out?? I heard a piece on this on the radio today so I looked it up. Sure enough, no medals in any sport/event to date. I find this shocking to say the least.

What do you expect from a country with nationalized healthcare? Eliminate the need for competition and what you have left is a bunch of complacent underachievers, right down the line, but that's the socialist way I suppose... Too bad fur-trapping or beer-swilling aren't summer Olympiad events, otherwise those hosers would have at least 2 golds for sure...

Yeah, too bad for the Canadians low crime-rate and higher standard-of-living weren't Olympics events as surely they would medal in that if they were to play the Americans.

it is depressing though, a struggle for canada to win what 2-3 medals yesterday meanwhile, from the time we all sleep to the time we wake up china has won another 4-5 golds in events that noone could possibly care about, Team TAble tennis? <-- how can this possible be a sport.
also womens weightlifting is always sketchy, whey are women lifting weights? maybe they have their 1 kid early then spend the rest of their lives looking like a man.
