Thinking about MOST RUNS SERIES (both teams)
M. HUSSEY $7.00
M. CLARKE $9.00
MOST WICKETS SERIES (both teams)
D. STEYN $3.25 (bit short)
M. MORKEL $9.00
Thinking Aussies will share more often than not. Johnson may get a hiding. He is due for one. LEE and Clark just dunno where they are at the moment. Then spin friendly MCG and SCG. Wickets get shared.

What's Ponting paying for most runs? I expect a big series from the skipper.
Clarke looks solid, Huss a bit up and down if I could ever say that about him.
Morkel? Doubt it. BUT, the Aussies are well aware of Steyn and wouldn't want to give their wickets away to him, so Morkel may come in under that rationale.
Lee looked great in that spell on the 4th morning and has openly expressed his desire to do well here.
South Africans never other with spin, Krejza may play 2 at most....
hmmn
Can't wait!

AB,
Exactly what I thought about Morkel. Aussie keep out Steyn (3 or 4 wkts a Test) go after Ntini (maybe 2 wickets a test) that leaves Morkel
( 5 wkts a test ). Aust. lose maybe 15 wkts per Test. Not sure on Lee. Great bowling but then again against Kiwis with nothing but a hiding on offer. Hard to gauge him. Think he is getting over (better) after India. Looked like getting back to old Lee.
ODDS FROM SPORTSBET
Ponting V aussies @ $4.00
Hayden & Hussey @ $4.25
Clarke & Katich @ $5.50
Ponting V both teams @ $6.00 with
G. Smith
Jive,
" when I see that $3.75 about Sout Efreca is
"
Please explain???
Thought that was bad odds. IMO I would swap prices with drawn series. They haven't really improved that much. Kallis out of form is huge Aussie bonus.
Hashim Amla @ $4.50 most runs SAf is confusing. I would be backing him UNDER 40 everytime. I may be wrong on him.
Gotta do more research.

I can't wait any longer.
Just put up the bloody prices already.
Will have to back Aust.
Clarke more than Symonds again & again & again.
Next man out LEE. Always good @ $1.50
Next man out Symonds @ whatever.
1st man out Katich. Hayden wants Steyn. Stubborn arrogant. Love it. Remember Zaheer Khan.
Cashed up and ready to roll. Lets go already.

Starting to wilt a bit as the clock nears midnight, so I'll be very brief.
Terri, there's a few reasons I rate South Africa's chances out here this summer.
* They'll fancy their chances BIG TIME with no Shane Warne and Glen McGrath to contend with. Mentally, that's two massive hurdles that the Saffers don't have to confront this time.
* Australia's inability to bowl (quality) teams out since the retirement of Warne and McGrath. Saffers have traditionally batted very deep (although that might be lessened a bit with the retirement of Shaun Pollock).
* The venues for this series should give South Africa's pacey attack plenty of encouragement (despite all this hype about Steyn I really think this Morkel will be more of a handful if he gets it right out here)
My first point is really the big one for me. The mindset of South Africa knowing they don't have to deal with Warne and McGrath. They should approach this series as a real opportunity to exorsise some old demons.

OKAY. Think I pissed me pants anyway.

* Australia's inability to bowl (quality) teams out since the retirement of Warne and McGrath. Saffers have traditionally batted very deep (although that might be lessened a bit with the retirement of Shaun Pollock). Certainly worried about Aussie bowlers. Big worry. Looking at drawn series.
* The venues for this series should give South Africa's pacey attack plenty of encouragement (despite all this hype about Steyn I really think this Morkel will be more of a handful if he gets it right out here). His figures BEFORE Bangers were good. Maybe let down or looking ahead against Bangers. Those figures are bad though. Heard he is an arrogant hot head who doesn't take any shit. Maybe aussies get under his skin like Andre Nel. Don't know how he will respond.

I reckon Ponting gives a big 'up yours' to Border and all his other detractors at the expense of the Saffers.

AB,
I know you like to add some shorties. How about this:-
SERIES WHITEWASH ONLY.
ANY OTHER RESULT = $1.35
NZ SERIES WIN 2-0 $4.50
WEST INDIES SERIES WIN 2-0 $7.50

Terri, I don't normally play shorties. Every now and then I will, like Australia @ $1.38 to beat NZ. On those rare occassions where I think the juice is worthwhile, I load up. Done it a couple of times in the NRL as well, but probably no more than 3 in a season.
NZ v WI? Who knows. Can either team hold a bat long enough to play out a draw? NZ will be glad to be home, and should beat the Windies. Whether they sweep them though, I'm not sure.
Two paragraphs and I haven't answered your question. I wouldn't play it, but GL if you do

Nah not for me either. Who knows. Thinking it rains out at least 1 test.
Apologises mate, for some reason I thought you liked to put shorties in Multi's.
