His pedigree is unquestionably good. He will battle Teelocke who has made it to the 2nd Round in the most thrilling fashion in Battle Forum history. Can she keep the magic going facing a battle tested Gladiator like Atlanta? We will certainly find out as this battle begins today and ends on Sunday. TEELOCKE DRAWS FIRST BLOOD!

It was a boisterous night in the Battle Forum as Teelocke supporters were cheering on their hero. Both Gladiators struck good blows going 3-0. But Teelocke has the early edge by 15 points. Atlanta wasn't dismayed. He also went 3-0 and will look to get the lead on Day 2.

Don't you hate it when you come up with that one big underdog you feel certain is going to win......then find out your opponent came up with it too!! Congrats on also picking the Giants TeeLocke. Day two starts in a few minutes. One of us will have the privilege to knock out Mondo, who has been hanging out in the Forum, eating peeled grapes and being cooled with the giant feather fans while trying to get Cleopatra to answer his calls for the last three weeks.

I couldn't decide on that one. Quintana has been up and down, and I like Chacin, but in the first half of the year. It seems to me he fades later in the year, so I didn't pick it. 

TEELOCKE SETS THE PACE

It was a raucous crowd here in the Battle Forum cheering for Teelocke as she rained down punches on Atlanta. Teelocke seems motivated by the strong support she is receiving here in the Battle Forum as she bowed to the crowd on her way out. But we all know this Battle is far from over. We look for Atlanta to counter attack today and test Teelocke's mettle. Atlanta is a veteran of big battles and this is Teelocke's first adventure getting this far. Let's see what today's battle brings for these Gladiators.

ATLANTA INFLICTS SOME DAMAGE

Atlanta wasted no time in giving Teelocke some body blows. It was the first time in this battle that Teelocke is actually being tested. As we approach Day 4 in this Wild Card battle Atlanta realizes that he can't afford to let Teelocke get to far ahead in points, especially with the crowd decidedly in her favor. Teelocke will look to respond today as this battle is really close now. Will the crowd spur her on or will the pressure that Atlanta is putting on her be too much for this Gladiator to handle. We will find out right here in the Battle Forum.

THE FINAL STRETCH

It was a quiet night in the Battle Forum as both Gladiators seemed to be saving up their energy for the final push. The partisan crowed was pleading with Teelocke to inflict damage on Atlanta. But Atlanta is crafty and played very conservatively last night. We expect both Gladiators to empty the tank between today and tomorrow.

Smooth, with all your support of TeeLocke, I'm starting to think you have a betting interest on her surviving this round. Guess I'm going to have to watch for spears being thrown from the stands the next two days. Whoever Mondo gets, he's in for a struggle.

We are just reporting the action as it unfolds. She has many fans in the stands so you're right you better watch out for those spears and arrows shooting out from the stands. 

ATLANTA TAKES A BEATING

It was a bloody day in the Battle Forum as this Wild Card battle took a violent turn. Atlanta suffered his worst day in the Battle Forum going 1-6 and losing 691 points. Teelocke picked her spots to punish Atlanta and it was very effective. Teelocke escaped most of the mayhem by maintaining her patient demeanor. But her fans in the stands to the chagrin of Atlanta were going wild. They serenaded Teelocke as she rained down blows on Atlanta. The lesson learned here is that if your opponent is self imploding don't do anything that will stop the implosion. Teelocke is in control of this battle now and we look for Atlanta to lay it all out on the line on this final day.

ATLANTA SHOCKS TEELOCKE!

It was another night of drama in the Battle Forum as Atlanta and Teelocke's battle came down to the last game. This was all possible because Atlanta staged an incredible comeback. Atlanta was down by 436 points to start the day but his capping skills was on point as he reeled off 5 wins against only 1 loss heading into the night game. Meanwhile Teelocke was 2-1 and trying to hold on to her slim lead. It was a perfect storm of drama as Atlanta took the Mets and Over while Teelocke took Philadelphia and the Under. The Mets pulled out the victory and with that victory Atlanta advances to the Quarterfinals with one of the best comebacks since Crush broke Smoothd's heart in Battle Forum I.

For Teelocke it was a bitter pill to swallow. Her fans were dejected at this sudden turn of events but Teelocke can hold her head high. She is a definite force in the Battle Forum and has blazed the way for future female Gladiators. Now Atlanta will take on the 2 time Battle Forum Champ Mondo. That will be a great battle for sure.
