QUARTERFINAL MATCHUP

This is a rematch of the Battle Forum III Championship. Mondo is seeking vegenance on Atlanta for that defeat and true to his vow the Champ has come out strong. Mondo has raced out to a quick lead but as we all know Atlanta has made numerous comebacks. The Champ had his fans battle ready but Atlanta's fans showed up big time to support their man. This will be an epic battle between 2 Powerhouse Gladiators.

Mondo is setting the pace in the early going of this battle. The Champ knows that this will not be a walk-in-the-park so he's measuring his shots carefully. Atlanta meanwhile is obsessed with the Midwest Mafia and eliminating them one by one. No doubt if he completes the assignment against Mondo he will have a keen eye on Upset City. Both of these Gladiators are dangerous because they can explode for hundreds of points on consecutive days.

MONDO EXTENDS HIS LEAD

Mondo continued his hittman approach in his battle with Atlanta. Mondo gained another 203 points after going 2-0. Atlanta meanwhile is staying within striking range gaining 88 points. It appears Atlanta is measuring the Champ in anticipation of pouncing when the time is right. This battle is as much of a mind game as it is physical.

Suddenly Atlanta has gone conservative the last few days making only a few selections. It's seems to be working as he is edging closer to the Champ as we head into this first weekend of this Quarterfinal Battle. There's alot more strategy being employed by the Gladiators in Battle Forum VI in regards to how many games they should pick. The philosophy seems to be picking less games and staying close to your opponent and then lay it all on the line the last few days of the battle.

Atlanta has suffered back to back horrible days losing a combine 979 points and falling behind Mondo even further. Atlanta has made up some room so far today going 2-0 but is trailing badly as we close out the first weekend of these Quarterfinals. Meanwhile Mondo is just playing it conservatively and winning steadily.

MONDO NEEDS TO DO A MERCY KILLING

Mondo continues to slowly kill Atlanta, draining him of his lifeblood. Atlanta is resigned to inevitable defeat that is at hand at this moment. It was another day of none or little progress for Atlanta as he gained only 63 points. Meanwhile Mondo is on Lake Michigan sipping Long Island Ice Teas as he awaits his opponents fate.

The Champ is putting all the Gladiators on notice that he's serious about going Back to Back in a bid to win his 3rd Battle Forum Championship. It was a display of impressive Capping ability as Mondo pounced on Atlanta from the opening bell and never let up. Despite the fact this battle has two days left, Atlanta is 2655 points behind Mondo. It's been one of worst defeats in Battle Forum history but we have other beatdowns in progress as well. Mondo will now get ready for his next battle against the sharpshooter Sixbankz.

Mondo vanquished Atlanta without breaking a sweat. He will now meet Sixbankz in the Semifinals in hopes of reaching his 2nd straight Championship. The ultimate goal for the Champ is to bring home his 3rd Battle Forum Championship.
