Blackhawks looking to tie the longest streak without a regulation loss to start the season of 16 games held by the 2006-07 Anaheim Ducks tonight and NBC Sports is showing the Red Wings @ Predators instead

btw, when NHL Net was speaking of this last night, they mentioned that the last 5 teams to tie or beat the record went on to WIN the Stanley Cup that season.

The cup?  not happening dude.  Unless they get Luongocant believe they went with that game.  Id rather clean out my BBQ

well I get Center Ice SO I will watch the Chicago CSNsports broadcast with Pat Foley and Eddie Olczk (sp?) which is better than Doc and his crew anyhow

This was most likely one of the games scheduled that can't be pulled due to legal contracts.

As for the potential record breaking game... they announced this weekend that it would be televised.

Sharks at Hawks on Friday, Feb, 22.

I don't know if that game had originally been on thier schedule or not BUT it will be on TV.

IF they are to tie the 35 game record... they will have to do it vs Nashville on April 1st... in game 35 of this 48 game season.

In NYC nbc has Sharks vs Blues. Looks like vipbox.tv for me.

Emery TRIED to give it away BUT the Bhawks FINALLY won a shootout. forearm CHEAP SHOT to the back of the head by Jannik Hansen on Hossa early in the 3rd. SHOULD have been a major and game with Hossa injured. he was #1 star and couldn't even come out the dressing room. hope the Bhawks send the tape to the league. SHOULD be a suspension as shouls ALL cheap head shots.
