What History Says About a Team Like Vegas

Teams with 95 or less points are 3-16 in the cup finals since 1980.

Even worse 2 of those teams were 10 and 12 games above .500 but had 14 or more ties.

The other team had a losing record but an elite level defense and with a goalie with a  .929 save percentage in the regular season and the best playoff goalie run in a year I have ever seen a goalie play. Do what you want with that info.

I have a future on Vegas at +600 so I have to think about this going forward. Not a fan of Carolina or Montreal but this heavily favors one of them especially Carolina

Still only 1 losing team to win the cup. They had an elite goalie
