two games that really have me scratching my head...

the last time lightning played the flyers..they llightning opened at -120..now the lightning who are playing their best hockey of the year open at -110..they are given no edge in this game..IMO vegas is siding with the flyers..

last time the preds saw the sharks..the preds opened at -125..this time..they actually opened as a dog on pinnacle and the gae is now a pk..

judging by these lines...im leaning heavily on both road teams..the fact that both good home teams didnt even open up as a small favorite shud cause concern for those backing them tom..

anyone agree with me? i would have thought that tampa and nash wud have been atleast -120 or so..

tampas won the last 3 matchups and nash the last two..and your getting them at a bargain at home..and both tampa and nash when they were under the radar opened as favs to the teams they are playing tom..now both home clubs are respected by the public and oddsmakers..yet both are pks?

As of right now I think public will be leaning with the roadies here even at a PK but will have to monitor the line movement tomorrow.  Kind of reminds me of today's caps/yotes game and we both know what happened there.

i was thinking same thing..but what made me realise that my initial yotes lean was when the yotes went from -115 to +100.yotes never were favs to the caps in past matchups...what makes htese games different is the last time both these teams were home vs their opponents..both home teams opened as favs..now nash opened as a dog and tampa as a pk..fishyyyyy

you're right but I will def be taking tampa if the public decides to keep chasing against them.  4th & final meeting this season and philly swept them last season so tampa might just return the favor

still early Hitt but thinkin preds, wild, oilers, lightning over.. if it keeps rising might throw a unit on the leafs...

I think you are looking too far into the fact Nash is a small fave. The Sharks will take the majority of the bets no matter what, so I think the line is about right. Even WITH Nash as a small fave the Sharks are getting a majority of the action. If it was any higher it would have crazy one sided action.

the more i look at this..lg is right..this is the final meeting of the year so the pk is reflecting that..now tampas +105..gotta fade tha steam.but i dont understand y the sharks opened as favs to nash..now nash is favored..nash should have opened as the fav to begin with..
