Tonight:

Avalanche +.5 -108

Im still not sold on the Ducks,yes they have won 4 in a row and have been playing good hockey winning 7 of their last 10 but most of those wins came against struggling teams other than the Canucks who were just off a road trip and were primed for a letdown and the Sens yesterday who are in the middle of a long road trip and prior to yesterday played 5 of last 6 on the road...Ottawa still had a chance to win that game.....not to mention that they probably still have nightmares of the cup finals vs. the Ducks.Theres no way am i going to lay -154 on them against the Avs who they've lost to once already this season and are trying to keep their place in the 8th spot in the West. Both teams playing well and the Avs played a very good game against the Kings last night. The Ducks could win this game of course but i expect it to be close and possibly go to OT to decide this so i'm gonna make the safe bet with minimal juice.Thought about taking the Avs ML but still no confirmation on who is starting for them.If it's Varlamov the edge is in Anaheim's favor...Giguere played very good last night but not sure if he will go B2B.

I don't think its a bad play,almost went for it myself. Definitely like the chances better if Giguere gets the start against his former team.
