I said in a thread a few weeks back...
I played against him in summer league...we had a guy on our team as big as the Boogie man Boogard
Do you think Avery was on the ice when he was out there...unlikely he was......

Hey Johnny that does not surprise me.  I think Sean Ovary is scared of his own shadow.  He ran from Kovalchuk.
 
I'd like a couple of shifts against him lol  He could play the role of Marc Tardif..... I'd be Rick Jodzio

yeah....and Jarret Stoll is hooked up with Rachel Hunter...another Avery castoff.  But his ''dig'' was meant more for Deion.  It could be a very interesting game tonight if you guys can pick it up on the T.V. ... or via internet.

I love Avery when he opens up his trap. He usually comes through with excellent quotes and this is a great line.

What pisses me off is what he does on the ice. A disgrace to the sport.

I'm so amazed at how "anal" the NHL is these days.

People must have been so thrilled to get to see this game and now the guy everyone wants to see get his face smashed is suspended.

I'm glad the N.H.L. is ''anal''.  Of the BIG 4 PRO SPORTS LEAGUES.... the N.H.L. is known through our North America as having the most approachable / humble & grounded players.  The last thing ''our'' sport needs is a bunch of ego trippin' gangsta attention person like Plaxico Burress....Pac Man Jones....Rae Carruth in the N.H.L.  These guys totally lack intelligence.   

But...maybe Sean Avery was trying to be like Pac Man by being rebellious.  [if you listen to Jim Rome.] 

Don't get me wrong... guys like Brett Hull, Chris Chelios, Jeremy Roenik always gave us great sound-bites, rather than the vanilla cliches like Ryan Smyth spew out. 

What Avery says.... would be best applied in a rant, after a well choreographed rasslin' match on W.W.E.  I'm sure Vince is scouting him already.

Who knows , maybe this is Avery's easy way out to avoid being on the same rink with Iginla and Phaneuf ready to knock him out.
