The lowest line during the 23 game streak was -132 when they played a game against Nashville. Now obviously with Vancouver coming in, 1st in the Western Conference could be on the line, and we all know how well the Canucks have been playing. I see a line opening around -120 to -125. The books want to balance action and know if Vancouver is too much of a dog the public will pound the Canucks. At around -120 to -125 they will get lots of people playing Detroit, riding the streak and thinking that's a great price all things considering. Of course the streak will PROBABLY end at some point this season, but until then I will stay away and probably take the UNDER in this situation.

LA Kings need to make a blockbuster trade to add offensive firepower. Rick Nash??? Bernier, Penner (fresh start) top prospect and 1st or 2nd round draft pick. The price is too high for Nash but LA should make the move for a playoff run. Carter would be a nice option with Richards on board
I feel bad for Blue Jackets fans right now. Playing in the toughest division in the West and all the talk about trading the franchise player. How do they sell tickets without Nash?
Sorry for the off topic stuff. Keep up the great work in the threads LeRinkRat
