Prop bet

Huge NHL fan though I don't post here a lot. Planning to change that this season thanks to a lighter work schedule.

Anyway....

I am going with Jason Robertson under 102.5 points. Robertson racked up a career high 109 points last season but I just don't see him flying under the radar this season, nor do I think he is an elite offensive player. Very good, but not elite. He is not overly big, he is definitely not fast, and he plays on a team that plays a disciplined defensive style. He does not have a ton of offensively gifted players around him either. Note that he averaged 1 point per game in the playoffs and was not noticeable for long stretches of the post-season. Also note that he played all 82 regular season games last season and the chances of that happening again are not high. I think the 24 year old is way overvalued here and have him pegged for somewhere between 82-88 points this season.

We are betting a nice round $1,000 to make $860 on this wager. I am delving deep on a few other props and futures but this one really stood out to me and jumped on it today.

I was surprised to see him ranked 7th in the yahoo pre draft rankings but he did have a great season last year. He is 6 foot 3 inches tall and 200 pounds so not sure I agree with you about his size as he is tough to handle around the net. He also has an incredibly hard and accurate shot as well. He obviously plays on the top line for Dallas and had 41 PP points last year which was 5th in the league. If he stays healthy which you have mentioned in your writeup he will be right at this number. Dallas ranked 10th in goals per game last year and are in the top 10 in odds to win the Cup this year.
