  In his last two starts, Montembeault allowed nine goals on 59 shots for an .847 save percentage. The Canadiens lost 4-3 to the New York Islanders in overtime and 6-5 to the Anaheim Ducks in a shootout, with Montembeault’s season record falling to 10-8-4 with a 3.43 goals-against average and an .872 save percentage. In the loss to the Ducks, Montembeault allowed a goal on the first shot he faced for the fifth time this season. He also allowed a goal on the first shot he faced in the third period.

The 21-year-old Fowler has a 19-7-1 record with the Rocket this season, along with a 2.23 GAA, a .916 save percentage and three shutouts. In 10 games with the Canadiens earlier this season, Fowler had a 4-4-2 record with a 2.62 GAA, a .902 save percentage and one shutout.

21 year old Fowler was recalled prior to tonights game, He will get the start, Caufield is a game time decision but likely to go..

 Absolutely, I like the kid between the pipes. Anything is better than the alternative. Habs are a better team on the road anyways (17-7-8) * Best road record in the Eastern Conference., Ottawa first game back home after a 5 game west coast road trip.. so could be a soft spot, Habs 3-2 last 5 vs Ottawa, and Habs worth a shot at +150 on the road..
