Might as well crown them now. They are looking like an all-star team now. Shero sure is swinging for the fences this year and I like their chances in this shortened season. here go what the lines should look like. Kunitz Crosby Iginla Morrow Malkin Neal Dupuis Sutter Cooke Adams Kennedy Jeffrey or Glass
defense Letang Martin, Orpik, Niskanen, Murray, Depres, Engelland. Murray really shores up the blue line with a defensive minded defenseman and will help on the kill greatly. I know Iginla is probably a rental, but hey they basically just gave up a 1st round pick for him and 2 college players, but was worth it if they win this year. They can probably find a way to resign Murray and Morrow and then it will all be worth it either way. I was praying they get Iginla but after they got Morrow I figured they were done trading.

3 captains on top 2 lines and all 6 of them all stars at some point recently. 3rd line is as good as 2nd line on most other teams, and who cares about 4th line, but Tyler Kennedy is the best 4th line center in the league right now, lol. This is un frickin believable as a lifelong Pens diehard fan and I can't wait for the playoffs. I am actually glad the season is short this year so they come in a hurry. and just think the majority of this winning streak has been without Malkin and was without Morrow, Murray, and Iginla. they are all just icing on the cake!!

They look solid guru but the Penguins aren't winning anything with Marc-Andre Fleury in net. He was terrible last year in the postseason against the Flyers and his save percentage has been above .900 in only one of his last four playoff runs which illustrates that point. Also I don't think an aging backup goaltender like 36 year old Tomas Vokoun is the answer to the Pens problem in net.

I would leave Dupuis on the line with Crosby.....He has been on fire.....Maybe move Iginla up on some Powerplays. I agree with Canada to some point but with that lineup the Pens only will only need average goaltending to win.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

I was thinking the same thing until recently. Flower has really "tightened up" along with the defense. a LOT of problems in the Flyers series last years layoffs were D problems and NOT entirely his fault (although he WAS "off his angles" and "half way to Homestead" out of position a LOT)
