I parlayed NYR +1,5 with LA +1,5 before checking your thread! I hope we both cash! Was leaning NYI...curious as to how you can lay almost 40 cents with the disaster that is the Fly??

I bet the Flyers because my model supported the play.  Plus, the Flyers are at what appears to be their lowest and it was a good spot for them tonight.  A shootout loss is a shootout loss, but had they lost by 4 goals I still liked the play.  BOL in the future

Call me crazy but these Flyers have to get it going sooner or later.  Boston has not been their stout selves as of late either; 3-2 Flyers!

Bol with your plays Nesci but why do you think the Flyers have to get it going sooner or later? People have been saying for the past month now that the Flyers would get it going, would be starting some sort of a streak or that they would be turning it around. The bottom line is this team isn't going to the postseason, their  defense is no better than it was when this whittled-down season got underway and quite frankly it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they dropped their next 5 or 6 games in succession. They are simply that bad at this stage.

Thank you pinball,

I don't necessarily think they will turn it around, but I know that this team is much better than their recent performance and therefore, there is value in them.  Though, I would not just bet a team because I think they're "due"; my model churned out a play on them leaning towards a 2 unit play and the reason I made them a 2 unit play is because of the low perception of them.

Once again my model supported a play on the Flyers.  Upon last night's victory, I think the Flyers migrate up the standings over the next few games.  This is not a let down spot for them; they are desperate.  Washington has been sharp lately, but on a B2B, on the road versus a Flyers team that looks like their old selves... BOL to all!
