I had wings yesterday and they always play tough against sharks, however they are now on the tail end of a b2b and will be facing a VERY hungry and desperate ANA team at home. The Ducks are 5 points back from the last and final playoff spot held by guess who? The Wings. The Ducks now have control of their own fate. Also, Detroit's defenseman, Niklas Kronwall injured his ankle in last night's game vs sharks and won't be in the lineup tonight. As for the Ducks, I expect a solid effort from Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, Koivu and Selanne! Not to mention a good performance from their rock solid D as well. Hiller is a stud, he's only given up 3G in his last 3 games and is coming off a shut out win on the road. The Ducks are 8-0 in their last 8 home games and beat the Wings at home 4-1 the last time they played on 01/05/10. It was also Howard vs Hiller in net that game. If Osgood goes tonight then the Wings may have even more problems tonight.
