Nashville at New Jersey Discussion

Question

Very interesting line and matchup.  NJ currently -135 yet the Preds are the superior team and are on a roll right now.  The preds seem like such an easy pick, but with closer examination, that might not exactly be the case.  Preds had a 3 game home stand, now they travel to jersey, and go right back to nashville tomorrow to play the kings.  Thus, in my opinion there is a chance for a letdown spot tonight or tomorrow, and it seems more likely that the letdown would come tonight, knowing that they go right back to nashville tomorrow to play a tough conference opponent.  While Lindback has been incredible, he cannot be labelled as an elite goalie after only 11 games.  IMO he is due for a letdown at some point, and despite their record, the devils have played teams very tough lately, often outshooting their opponents.  Thus, the situation and the line point out to me that it is either a Devils wager or no play .  Any thoughts?

Agree it could be the letdown spot.However, hot goalie in a sound defensive system, up against the worst even strength team in the league.At plus money, does seem like a sucker bet I guess, but got to bite.
