I pretty much always fade the stars in G1 when they're up against a quality opponent. Now time to back them in G2. It's a must win spot, doesn't mean they will but they're a very good team and have been here before - I think the effort and urgency will be there tonight for the home team.
Excited about the Ducks and Oilers series getting started. Watch out for the Duckies - I think the advantage behind the bench with Q is pretty significant here. The Oilers have played a ton of hockey over the past 2 seasons, you have to wonder how much this core group really cares about the regular season. Real season starts for them tonight. I think the price on the Oilers is crazy though, they're a poorly constructed team imo. Went from a bad goalie to possibly a worse one with Jarry or Ingram this year. Skinner at least had streaks of good play. Ducks have pretty good depth, they're inexperience is where I think they could get stuck here but they are a physical group who won't back down similar to the Utah effort last night. Ducks more skilled though. Draisaitl should be back but wouldn't be surprised if it takes a game to get back into the flow/chemistry for this team. No play yet, but the Ducks are intriguing in some form tonight.

Entirely possible, minnesota is good. Dominated dallas and they're dogs tonight. Sometimes it really is free money, but I wouldn't bet anyone elses $ on them tonight let alone my own. One of those games where I'll pay to see my side lose i guess lol

I never like overreacting to one game so certainly don’t want to overreact to 20 minutes but um…. I hope the ducks get told they’re in the playoffs and there’s a game tonight involving them
