Ovy has had some pretty talanted guys around him in years past...They always seem to score 4 goals a game regular season...Then playoff hockey hit and they would lose games 2-1 and get eliminated in the first round.didn&#x27;t they win the Presidents Cup a few years ago and get knocked out the first round

Crosby may have a ton of talent around him now, but he didn't when they started. Good GMs and owners build around stars and that is what the Pens did.

The big difference here is Crosby makes players better. Kunitz, Dupuis are huge examples of that, and Sid may be the best passer in the game. Ovetchkin has talent but he fails to make the players better around him...

True dat, with the exception of BACKSTROM...his numbers are directly tied to the Ouchos. If Ovarian ain&#x27;t playing well Backtroms numbers are atrocious. It&#x27;s like passing the ball to Michael Jordan and getting credit for the assist. And don&#x27;t get me started on Green... But that&#x27;s one thing the Caps lack and that&#x27;s CHEMISTRY. I never see any right place, right time goodies, just don&#x27;t have a feel for the other players, or maybe everyone else kinda sucks? Tomas Fleischmen was the second biggest piece to the CAPS presidents trophy acquisition...too bad he&#x27;s gone. You can always trade away lil&#x27; carrot-top, and your teams worst defender....Mike Green.
