Kings Futures Advice

Question

Don&#x27;t usually wager much on hockey, but followed the advise of a good Covers buddy, the man the myth the legend Stuckey, and dropped 1 unit to win 8 units on Kings to win the West &amp; 1 unit to win 20 units for the Cup!  Hedged in a unit on the Nucks in the round 1 already, but that&#x27;s it.  How should I proceed with my hedge???I&#x27;m really pleased with the way they are playing and are currently the favs to win the CUP.  But anything can happen and I fill at least some what of a hedge is a must.PHO sitting at &#x2B;150 for the series.  Hit that???Or wait &amp; hope for at least a split in the 1st 2 games in PHO &amp; the series price should be even better on PHO.  (that&#x27;s what I did in the STL series &amp; never had to hedge)...How would you do it.....

I&#x27;m in a similar situation only the other way round. have a Coyotes "to win the west" @ 13-1.&#xD;&#xA;IF I were in your situation, I would probably hit that Coyotes &#x2B;150 series for enough to cover the tickets cost BUT "Papa Ratte" is very OLD and very CAUTIOUS. &#xD;&#xA;in my case being on the Coyotes, I will bet the Kings 1st game hopefully around -120. IF it wins I get bpart of my "bait back". IF it loses, I will probably bet the adjusted Kings series odds before game 2.

If you&#x27;re into sports betting for pure profit, you have to hedge. I usually create a confidence percentage when it comes to hedging. Meaning what percentages do you give to the Kings and Coyotes to win the series. In my head, I favor the Kings at around 55% and the Coyotes at 45%. Obviously if I was hedging, I would try and get the 55% return on the Kings based on how much money is at stake in my futures. Since I&#x27;m not hedging, I see tremendous value in Phoenix at &#x2B;150, even if mentally I see them at 45% to win the series. Sounds a bit strange, but I often break games and teams with percentages in my head when seeking value. Lots of people are on the Kings and they probably should be. But I only see them at 55% and that doesn&#x27;t equate to the 1.60 odds offered for them to win the series.
