notice how TV doen't try to do too much? just makes the 1st save and expects the D to clear. NO flopping around. NO trying a fancy passing play. just plays excellent position.

will agree with one thing. IF the Islanders come up with a world class stopper in goal off season, they will be a FORCE next year in the league. they are where the Penguins were just a few years ago

Islanders (along with either the Flyers or Lightning) should have jumped all over Eric Hartzell as a free agent after the NCAA tourney. instead the Pens grabbed him.

well seeing as a #8 seed won the title last year id still be excited i took a 3-2 lead on the 8th seed.

WOW!!! I'm actually embarrassed for Habs fans 6-1 Senators @ Centre Bell. Sens a different team after getting both Anderson and esp Karlsson back.

think this is gonna be a way different Senators team from the regular season IF they and the Penguins play next round

Just what we were saying a couple days ago, RinkRat.  Vokoun will calm down the team. They'll play harder knowing he won't give up softies or score on himself. Islanders will wonder how to score again and Pitt will let their lead stand.

I will AGREE. IF TV and the Penguins can NOT close out Saturday, it very well becomes "deja vu all over again" of 1993 with ALL the pressure on the Penguins
