I seriously can't figure it out and might just let it ride.
LA Kings to win the division +400.
Phoenix is one point up on both the Sharks and Kings for the division.
If Phoenix beats the Wild in Minnesota, they win the division.
They play first at 8:00 et.
If they lose, then the winner of the Sharks/Kings game wins the division.
The math doesn't add up to lay it with Phoenix because I'd lose money if they lost and I had to roll it over onto SJ ML -145 the next game.
Phoenix losing in OT also throws a huge wrench in the whole thing. If they lose in OT and the Sharks win, then the Coyotes win the division because they have more wins when you exclude shootouts.
If the Coyotes lose in OT and then the Kings win in a non shootout, the Kings would win the division because they would be tied for wins excluding shootouts, but Kings beat em in head to head points.
If Coyotes lose in OT and Kings win in a shootout, the Coyotes would win division because they would have one more win excluding a shootout so tiebreaker wouldn't go down to head to head.
Head spinning yet? 99% sure I have that right and 98% sure I have to just let this ride unless someone is more creative than I am.
Thanks
