Carolina came thru for us on the spread -1.5, the parlay was reduced to a single play of -155 due to the push on the over under. We have had a good run - let's look at some numbers:
-112 Caro 8
6 Vegas 23
Caro opened up as a -112 fav currently around the same or -114/115 at some places. Over under is 6 or possibly 5.5 (madduxsports.com) . Based on a variety of sources and my own methodology - I give Carolina 8 and Vegas 23 - lower the better on paper.
When I look at the data i've collected over the last couple of years (took a hiatus from hockey when the shootout was implemented) we have had 3 situations where the opening line was -112 for the away team, the scores of those games with this situation: 3-0, 6-3,3-0 - none have the same ratings as 8-23 but similar scenarios . My plays:

2. Carolina - 1.5 +210 smaller play
