Explain why you would be in a hurry to lay -160 on a team that's lost 5 in a row

Have to go to work now but keep this thread going without me.

Last night i would've chosen CAL,but after seeing the forum full blast CAL i'm going to stand on the sidelines and see if i can learn from this.

Only bet for me today is BUF/VAN un 5.5 -125

The Flames have struggled to score and when I look at their line up, it does not surprise me. Sure they added a great D man in the off season but gave up goal scoring. I am not sure this lack of scoring goes away without some sort of player move and therefore, I think the Flames continue to struggle. That being said, I have a gut feeling they muster up enough tonight to beat the Blues...I'm just not going to bet on it.

Is paying $300+ on tickets to see a team who have gone 2-8 in their last 10 games any better the playing them at -160?

These are my boys and it's been a let down lately. Not sure what's going on with them, this is the same team that was tearing it up at the beginning of the season.

I think everyone is on them tonight because they think that this would be a good spot for them to break out of their funk. It is a good match up. I know the Blues have won the last two meetings but they have been close games. The Blues themselves have been inconsistant, and the Flames are a very desperate team.

Having said that this team needs to be shaken up. For the past few years we have seen such good players get let go and getting lack luster players in return. The first thing I would do is get rid of Jokenin, he is like a cancer every team he goes to. Florida, Phoenix now Calgary. He is not a good fit for this team or our beloved Iggy.

this game should really be a pickem.  not gonna go into the details of why but ill gladly take the +150 agaisnt a team on 6 game losing streak.  idk who would lay that kinda juice.

My lean is the value in the blues. Flames should win, but should doesn't mean will win.

I lean to the under as the better play. I like a 2-1 final as I see both teams struggling to score.

maybe  lucky #7  to break the streek,,,,line dropped to -140 ,,,,and took the over 5 ....blues  on a blue road trip
nucks -160  and under 5.5  hopeing luong will shit down the road legs

will see

I thought everyone would be on STL at +money against a team on 6 game losing streak,but it was the exact opposite and that's why i started this thread.
