Can someone explain to me how Carolina is a home dog in this game? They are healthy for the first time all year and look to be turning the corner. They were -140 at home to the Panthers, and you could argue that the Panthers are a better team then my Rangers AT THIS POINT in the year. So with that being said, how can Carolina be +110 in this game?
As much as it kills me to say, might have to bet against my team here...

if canes were -140 EVERYONE WOULD BE HITTING THE RANGERS
I didn't say it should be -140, but you can't possibly make the Canes -140 vs Florida, and +110 vs the Rangers. It flat out makes 0 sense. The line is now Carolina -115, -120 which is what the line should be.

sorry to say but i disagree...
i think the line OPENED correctly just based ONLY on the team record...if carolina OPENED at -115 or -120 then i would of played carolina as a trap game in my thread, i also would have waited for the line to go down cuz i would imagine the public would bet the rangers at +money....
now, since the line opened correctly and the line is moving crazy for carolina, making them at -115 or even at -120 at some places makes the rangers a value bet imo...i would see if you can get the rangers at like +125 or higher and would bet on that....
i know this sounds like im flip flopping but im just basing all this on the opening line, line movements and team records....i did not put the fact the panthers are healthy or any other info about the roster or teams into consideration....
