I'm a lifetime diehard Flyer fan myself and a fucking peewee goaltender could have stopped that soft along the ice shot from the top of the circle that he had a clear look at yet somehow inexplicably went right through his legs.

The team can be sloppy at times because they are a run and gun team, which is why they lead the NHL in goals scored and is also why they blew up their hockey team and emptied the bank for a goalie that is supposed to make big saves. Instead he makes next to no big saves aside from the odd glimpses of capable netminding here and there.

They don't need him to be great because they can outscore most teams, they just need him to be decent and he has been horrendous. There are no defensemen in shootouts and he can't stop a single puck in those either, the first 9 straight shootout shots went in on him this season, since then he is about .400 on them which is still very bad.

Then there are the reasons his ex team could not stand him and openly said they were happy to see him go. "I need to find peace in my soul to play goalie in this city". What kind of goof says that shit? I wonder if he has to find peace in his soul to collect those big fat checks he is getting paid.

We share the same pain brother but have a different view of this assclown...I will be the happiest guy in the world if he can stop being a mental freak and just start stopping pucks.

Maybe he can be solid the rest of the way here tonight and let us comeback. I do think he has it somewhere in him, I am just dying to see it as are all the guys on the bench rolling their eyes and each soft goal goes in...
