Best vegas books

the Las Vegas Casino (formerly Hilton) superbook is hands down the BEST for NHL hockey. 10 cent moneylines. 1st period side and totals betting, -1 1/2 pucklines (they call them goal lines) AND ingame betting by period which is GREAT IF you want to bet a "comeback".

Jay Kornegay's people also usually have at least a couple or three NHL games on TV. at most other books it usually "all baskets all the time"

 I don't think any of them will allow you to parlay more than 3 plus teams or totals....

I have never been limited like that at either the Las Vegas superbook OR at South Point. they have let me book the whole damn sheet of plus moneys or totals. only restriction I have seen is NO parlay puckline to total which is the same as with baseball runlines

may happen at some of the cheesy books like Stations or the tourist traps on the Strip BUT not at those two.

I agree the Hilton is the best sportsbook for good odds and various betting options. I usually buy my tickets at the Hilton, but end up watching the games at the MGM because their room is cozy and nicer by far than the Hilton. The MGM has always accomodated me with getting specific hockey games on the screens. The Hilton sportsbook is huge, but gives off a seedy vibe with all the smoke, noise, the losing tickets scattered on the floor and the type of people there on any given day. But the Hilton takes huge action, gives free drinks and the food is cheap and pretty decent.

although the Las Vegas superbook (aka Hilton) IS hands down the BEST esp for NHL, of the "locals casino books"" I would say the South Point is best IF you get away from the Strip. 20 cent moneylines BUT at least they offer -1 1/2 pucklines which is better than other locals like the Stations operations. I live close and use them when I don't feel like running to the Hilton.

AND they are big enough and have enough satelitte feeds and TV's that they usually have at least 3 or 4 hockey games unless they are completely over run with NBA and College baskets which is mostly on the weekends. they are pretty loose with their drink tickets too and on a side note, they have the HOTTEST cocktail waitress's in TOWN. 

You can stay Center Strip at the Imperial Palace for a great price.

the IP was "hockey central" in Las Vegas when owner Ralph Engelstad was still alive and Jay Kornegay, the current Las Vegas superbook manager, was running the sportsbook. they even put up lines on NCAA hockey and the now out of business Internatioal Hockey League when Las Vegas had the IHL "Thunder" playing at the Tommy Mack @ UNLV.

was also one of the few sportsbook bars in town that served Molsons and LaBatts.
