Love this tournament. Still on my bucket list and I'm not ruling out heading to Germany for next years tournament. Its in play at least. 
Switzerland is this years host and they are coming off of back to back silver medal performances including last years heart breaking loss to the USA in overtime.
They will want this tournament bad, especially being at home. That being said for once they will be playing with the spotlight directly on them with lofty expectations. New territory for Switzerland.
USA are the defending champions having won their 3rd World Championships last year. I believe only 2 players are back from last years team and Matthew Tkachuk is the only player from this years Gold Medal team. Tkachuk has a chance to join the triple gold club. He would be the first American Born player to do so if the USA are able to repeat.
Canada is coming off of a disappointing tournament last year having lost to Denmark at the QF stage. That was a loaded Canadian team as far as this tournament goes. This years version is still going to have Celebrini as captain with Crosby and Tavares acting as Alternates. They are always going to be a favourite just on name recognition alone. There usually isn't any value with Canada in this tournament unless you look at playing against them on the puck line. It depends on the opponent though.
Eye test is key to this tournament. You can find value when the line reflects the name brand vs how they actually look on the ice.

No play in the Canada / Sweden game. Two powers going head to head early. This is tough to call as I've seen both these squads traditionally come slow out of the gate. Canada at -311 is way to high for an opening game against Sweden imo.
Need to see how both Finland and Germany look before making any wagers. I would lean Germany +2 in regulation at -114 but no play.
Same with Czechia and Denmark. Not as strong a Danish team this year. I would lean Czechia -2 in regulation at +104 but no play.
The one play I'll be making to day is in the USA / Switzerland game. Completely different Team USA from last years Worlds and the Olympics that being said winning is contagious and so the culture of this team should be of one that wants to continue the momentum. They'll be a tough out and are a favourite to win this tournament. I just feel like for this game you have the home team who will want this game really bad as to get off to a great start plus there is the revenge factor from last years Gold Medal game which was a great hockey game and could have gone either way.
The counter is that the home team will feel the pressure and look tight early. If you like USA maybe take a look at 1P ML at +114 instead of for the game. I like Switzerland to win the game but -156 ot included is to pricey against the USA. I'll take them in regulation instead on the puck line.
