They had an amazing 1st half last year after being absent for the past 10 years, at one point they challenged Washington for first place(its true) while staying in the top 8 most of the year. If they can storm out of the gates again I see the Jets making a run for it. Dont forget where they play, MTS Center, that place gets loud

No bad feelings for dubnyk he is not bad at all but with the short season he is going to have to stand on his toes if he is going to face as many shots as he did last year he kept them in the game many times......they need to improve the defensive end which will have to be pushed by the coach I believe I was looking at this yesterday they allowed on avg 2.8 goals ranked 23 in the league. Also reduce the amount of penalty minutes. Edmonton is a fun team to watch and the speed they have is incredible. Offense looks great this year. Hope they continue to draw penalties because their PP was stellar last year I'm sure they ranked somewher near the top on PP. My comment regards to high scoring really had more direction toward the def and the offense they have. We all know how Nikolai Khabibulin played last year but with dubnyk behind the net this should give them more opportunities I hope.
One last thing hopefully Edmonton players can stay healthy to many injuries every year.
