Today:

Buff Philly - no strong lean either side.  Like Philly posted as a dog at +150ish, and teams combined 7-11 Under, so if it gets to 7, might be into that.  Interesting to note that Hart left with injury on the previous meeting 2 days ago, and I'm hearing 2-6 weeks.  "Sam I Am" Ersson (am I allowed to quote Dr. Seuss on a Canadian website...???) steps in for tonight most likely, and that probably explains the line.  Lots of uncertainty...

Devils Blues - line feels right, and the Over in any Devils game is tempting.  NJ on B2B, but they have a lot of young talent, and had 3 full days of rest prior to this B2B, so I don't think that is as big a factor as some might think.  NJ TT Over 3.5 at -120 is probably a good play, as is Total Over, but STL struggling to score avg only 1.8 GF.  Against Schmiddie and that NJD Defense, this might be one night they pot 3 or 4...

You’d have to be tempted to look at Devs over 6.5, it’s just that low output of STL as you mentioned that is worrisome. But it seems every NJ game spills over.

Carter Hart out for 4-6 weeks I heard.  The line on Philly is about right I think, the line on Jersey might have some value in it at -142 and you could go one better and take RL +110 ?

As far as Dr. Seuss, I think we Canadians are okay with that! I'll even go so far as to quote him (sort of)

@rustie  Dude that is some seriously funny shit.  I heard that many schools in US banned/removed Dr. Seuss books because he called a man from China, Chinaman.  I still to this day do not quite get why that is offensive.  I must be some kind of closet racist.  Thanks for the post - it has been copied and pasted and forwarded out to many of my Teacher friends and my relatives for a good laugh.  GL tonight Rustie.

Did not expect that last night, but not surprising.  Devils OTR on B2B, and I downplayed it.  Gritties was more eye opening.  Buffalo has a long way to go if they think they are a playoff team, and even if they do make it, inconsistent play like that against Heavies like Boston or Carolina will get you bounced quick when the game tightens up in the Cup.
