This is what I don't get.
If the line was -7.5 then that meant Vegas was tricking people into betting the Colts.
But since the line was -3.5 that also meant Vegas was tricking people into betting the Colts.
Y'all give Vegas oddsmakers way too much power.
They don't know everything and every line isn't a 'trap.'
Oddsmakers cannot predict the future.
They just know that you can't either.

Weird stuff does happen, but you are correct. Bettors are no better predicting the future than the linemakers. The linemakers do have access to the quickest and best information that the public is always late getting after line corrections.
