Look at A....

Prohibit players from FORCIBLY hitting a passer when he IS IN THE POCKET at or below the knees....

1) He didnt FORCIBLY HIT WILSON

2) Wilson WASNT IN THE POCKET

from watching that video you posted its pretty clear the defender uses his head as the primary point of contact... watch it again and dont BS me

i agree with you on A... but from what it says in B thats a valid flag... so i guess its not that easy.. therefor not a horrible call

how is that my fault?? the first thing that makes contact is his head...

do i agree with the rule?? i said 100 times its stupid. but its not my fault...

oh and btw... i dont believe anyone "deserved" to win... and i dont think it matters who deserved to win as that is subjective... to you GB deserved to win, to others it was SEA... its actually stupid to argue that being that one team actually won.. you are trying to say with pseudo "facts"  that GB had more bad calls against them... and again that is subjective and not a fact.

That is all i wanted you to understand, you presented no real facts, the game was poorly oficiated as most games are according to fans of the losing team, but one team won and thats the only fact that matters.

if you think that was roughing the passer you are more of a moron then the referee who threw the flag since youve had time to look at it...you have no idea how to call fouls in football so shutup i agree with everything thepack said

The point of my thread, if you read it, is "why are people saying Seattle deserved to win."

Everybody was saying "Seattle sacked Rodgers 8 times in the 1st half".

Thats a reason to win???

I brought up and provided VALID STATS which PROVED GBs defense was better. 

If you dont understand what my FACTS/STATS prove, then I apologize for your unability to understand

lol so if lets say.. San francisco defense stops the pats offense and wins the game 17-6

and Detroits beats Cleveland 27-0 you would think detroit is a better defense than san francisco??

i bet you wouldnt, its the same as saying that because GB stopped seattle is the same as Seattle stopping the green bay offense... so you understand stats but are unable to actually make comparisions and analogies... and interpretate what those stats actually mean..

and yes, the ppl saying Seattle deserved to win are wrong... but you are as well saying it is actually green bay the one that deserved the win.. 

no one deserves anything, you either win or you dont. theres no ohhh i lost but i should of won omg this is so unfair... no its not and thats why the result will stay that way.

i play poker and i dont sit and whine and complain if i lose a hand where im favored 80% to 20% its variance and we all go trough it... 

If over the course of 2 or 3 years GB always get screwed and not the other way around then i would say is unfair...

Neither team really proved more deserving than the other. The bad calls were closer than 6-2. Seattle still has more penalties, more pen yardage, and less 1st downs from penalties than the Packers. I will agree that the last drive had numerous bad calls which had balanced out the 3rd quarter when Seahawks were getting killed by really tick tack stuff.

Some other thoughts:
#1-I have no idea why Jennings is trying to catch the ender. Kids are taught since pee wee leagues to knock it down or deflect, but don't knock it forward or Titans/Lions happen, someone is always in front.
#2-Packers should have taken intentional safety instead of punting with secs left. They got tremendously lucky on this play and the Benson fumble. 

On the final play:
I'm not arguing that Tate commited PI. Or that Jennings caught it. Both happened.

To me, Tate's left arm is clearly in between the ball and Jennings's chest the entire time for a simultaneous catch. Tate's right hand is on the ball when they come down. No one is arguing that Jennings doesn't have possession or even more of possession. They both have it. Think of it this way. On Tyree's helmet catch in Giants/Pats Super Bowl, he's got the ball one handed pinned to his helmet. Tate has the ball pinned to Jennings. And every replay you hear, Tirico does think it was a simultaneous catch.

Now, when they fall to the ground, Jennings is rolling back and forth and trying to rip the ball away from Tate and yet cannot. This is because Tate's left arm is securely in there from the start. The more Jennings squeezes the ball, the less likely that Tate will lose the ball. This is also how you know it's not just Tate getting his left arm in there late. There's no room to jam his lefty in. When they fall, Tate's right hand comes off and he does try jamming in his right arm repeatedly. To me, how can you say that Tate doesn't have a portion of possession? 

If Jennings really had so much control, how come he can't rip the ball away from Tate even though Jennings is rolling around all over the place, in a better position, with better leverage, and also bigger than Tate?

More pen yds for GB yet 4 less flags

Here is the breakdown on flags:

Seattle 14 flags:

3 false starts, 1 offisde, 1 delay of game, 1 12 men on field, 1 def holding, 2 off holding, 1 face mask, 1 illegal hands, 1 PI for 4 yds, 2 roughing on change of possessions....

GB flags:

1 offside, 1 holding, 1 def holding on 3rd down for a 1st down, illegal hands taking away a 1st down, 3 roughing, PI on 3rd and 8 gives 1st down, PI on 1st and 25 when it was offensive gives 1st down.....

Yes, very fair calls

 

1)As for knocking it down...Did you see the Tenn game the day before??  MSU game last year???  Knocking it down doesnt assure anything....

2) Take a safety and allow a fg to tie??  Ok

The roughing on GB??

The false start on Sea??

The delay of game on Wilson??

Of course, take the safety. If they punt the ball, best case scenario is exactly what happened. They stop a return and the Seahawks have 45 seconds to go 50 yards to score a TD. It's an all or nothing scenario. If they punt/kick off, they would have to stop the Seahawks from going the same 50 yards to kick a 35-40 yard FG. Even if the Seahawks make it, GB can win in OT. Considering the way GB was playing the 2nd half, I would have faith in the defense/offense.

By punting the ball, they gave a strong special teams group a chance to not only block the kick, but also to return the ball.

As for knocking down the hail mary, like I said, don't knock it straightish forward. That's the worst thing you can do. There's always someone forward. You're in the corner of the end zone, you only have to tip it towards out of bounds.

A> People towards the out of bounds are likely to jump for the ball rather than holding that spot. 
B> Even if they catch it, they might be out of bounds.
C> Even if they catch it, you might be able to knock them out of bounds if it was a popup.
