For Miami to cover they will definitely need to control the clock and keep Brees in CO. off the field. However, that may not be enough because Brees and company may be able to score so quickly on them that TOP will not matter as much. I couldn't back Miami because their pass D is so weak. They are 31st in the league in yards allowed per pass with 8.4 and they allow big plays. They have allowed 18 20+ yard passes (23rd) and 6 40+ yards (28th). Meanwhile, NO is not the bad defense as we're used to seeing in the past. Specifically their run d, which will be tested this week. A run d which has allowed just over 83 ypg and 3.8 per carry. Seems like it will be difficult for the Saints to get as high as Parcells' boys for this grass game after 2 weeks of preparing for Gigantes on turf.
