Tennessee Titans +12 over Houston Texans
Double digit spreads are reserved for very bad teams.The Titans are NOT a bad team. They had two poor games to start the season, but this team has weapons all over the field. QB Jake Locker has a ton of talent, mobile with a big arm. WRs Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright, along with deep threat Nate Washington are as solid a WR core you'll find. TE Jared Cook is an athletic freak. CJ is the wild card with this offense if he ever gets going (probably won't) they'd be deadly. Regardless, this team's offense will get better by the week. Having said that, the Texans are a top 3 team in the league. J.J. Watt might be the best dlineman in football right now. But this is a game that I feel stays close. The Titans beat the Texans in Houston last year. While I doubt they do it again, I do think they keep this within a TD. Just have to keep taking this value until the oddsmakers adjust and realize that the Titans are an average team rather than a terrible one.
Kansas City Chiefs -1 over San Diego Chargers
Just like I called it, the Chiefs beat the Saints outright. Now they come back to Arrowhead for a huge division game. The Chargers oline is a mess right now. The Chiefs will bounce back large from their last home game where the Falcons thrashed them. Look for Jamaal Charles to build off his massive performance at the Superdome. The Chiefs D will get better every week. They lost a very good corner in Brandon Carr, but Romeo Crennel always has good defenses and this team has talent all over the field. I still stand by my belief that the Chiefs will win the AFC West.
Oakland Raiders +6.5 over Denver Broncos
Last 5 games in Denver the Raiders are 5-0 ATS. They play very well here. They got a huge win at home last week over the Steelers and I feel that they have a very good chance of winning outright here. Look for Run DMC to run all over this Broncos defense. Raiders win 24-20.
New Orleans Saints +8 over Green Bay Packers
I've seen a lot of people post here that they think the Packers will rebound after that disastrous call on Monday night with a blowout here. I disagree. The Saints are that underachieving team that comes up with wins over elite teams. The Packers defense looks good, but their offense is totally out of sync right now. The Saints' D is atrocious but I feel like they really NEED this one. Saints win outright.
