Everybody thought Freddie Prince shot himself but actually he shot a cockroach off his head.   There are exceptions to the therapist confidentiality and this was one.  He's crazy but he sure can throw a football.

people that comit suicide dont go around telling people like young did .........he wants attention and to make the people booing him, and saying he sucks feel bad .........people that really want to commit suicide tell no one, they just do it

Chicks commit suicide real pretty, like overdose on sleeping pills while naked.   Guys just blow their brains out with a gun all over the damn place and don't give a shit who has to clean it up.  Vince is just a mental case, probably hears booing in his head while he sleeps.

Hope the kid gets help.  Maybe this injury is the best thing for Vince.   I say keep Kerry Collins as the starter even when Vince comes back healthy.    Let him sort out his life and see if he really wants to play football.   Only play Vince again this season if Kerry Collins is terrible and losing games.    Then have Vince compete for the starting job next season.

This is probably just a cry for help or the need of attention.  I don't think Vince Young would actually kill himself but you never know.  Remember the whole T.O. suicide attempt saga.  Vince seems lost after getting injured and having what he knows and what he is best at taken away from him.   I don't take the issue of suicide lightly and it bothers me that some people have the cynicism to actually hope he does it.  Sure he lives a privileged life due to our societies emphasis on the importance of professional sports.  I say have some empathy for the guy and hope he gets the help he needs to get back on the field.  I think chillery makes an excellent point in stating that this adversity in Vince's life could be good for him.  He now has to struggle like most people in life and fight for what he might have taken for granted.

I wish the best for the young man, and if NFL QB is too much for him, then he needs to get out and find another career.
 
I will never, ever forget his performance in the BCS game against USC a few years ago.  That alone put him in legend status at the college football level, at least.

The Madden Curse even affected LT so much that he refused to be put on the cover (the year Vince was).  And let's see, LT missed the game of his career with a knee injury and is now dealing with an injured foot.
 
Will be interesting to see what befalls Brett Favre this year....something bad will happen.

Can anyone be shocked by this, considering how DUMB VY really is? I mean just listen to him try to communicate. He sounds like he has never set foot out of the hooooooood.
 
Remember his IQ test 3 years ago that every rookie takes.
 
He scored i believe the lowest score of any QB ever tested on the wonderlich IQ scale entering the nfl.
 
 HE scored below the number 75 with is considered retarded with 100 being the ave. IQ. of society.
 
The guy cannot deal with things with his limited brain functions and like so many other nfl players, around 20 to 25% of them, would probably be in trouble with the law, in jail or worse, if they were not playing football for a living.

Actually thtas not true. Im taking a grad course in health (PHYS ED MAJOR/HEALTH) and according to my texts, all info is confidential in adults unless the person talks about committing harm on themselves, and then the therapist/psychologist is supposed to notify authorities or whoever it may be that is correct in the situation. Unfortunately this went public.

Im really feeling for VY. Not a fan as a QB, but seems like a good kid. Everyone thinks just because someone has a lot of $ and probably gets ass on the regular if they want it means life is great. Thats a load of crap...sometimes people have chemical imbalances and things like money and girls in that way dont fix shit. I know first hand...

Yeah, you're right, KVL, VY is not the most intelligent guy around, and playing QB in the NFL is probably too much for him.
 
He is probably going to have to find another career.  For his sake, I hope he has managed his money right and has some good "fallback" while he finds something else.
 
The guy is a legend down in Austin, so I am sure someone will find something for him to do down there.

Let's face it, these rich NFL guys, especially a QB (yes, includes VY) pull so much fine, incredible, delicious puuucccyyyy on a DAILY/NIGHTLY basis, that it gets old....if that's possible (damn sure would like to find out me-self).
 
The pucccy these guys pull is the type straight out of a farking porn movie, and it's real, but it gets old when it's there every second of the day.
 
No, puuccy ain't going to save VY.  But yeah, when he's just another regular working stiff, he may miss it then, but right now, the man has some seriously big issues.
 
For "his crew" to rat his problems to the law......then he's got issues......BIG TIME.
