Just because a tarp is on the field doesnt mean it wont be muddy and swampy! Dont forget they are at sea level well actually like 13 feet above. That keeps water on the field and under the field, so their is a good chance that rain a couple days before the game will make the field worse than rain the day of.

The 9ers haven't played a game in the rain all year, so if it does rain, they don't really have an advantage
