how do you know if isnt in his best interest to call plays in favor of the underdog? do you have a record of what Corrente's record is with Ten or KC? Is he a homer ref?

FWIW, I've seen 3 or 4 referee threads forewarning us in the playoffs, and it had no bearing on the results.

One thread pointed out a crew who called the 5th most penalties pg on the year, then that particular game had the least called penalties.

PB calls him Tony 'pay the vig' Corrente...coolCorrente is to the Overlords of the NFL what Luca Brasi was to Don Corleone. 

His presence still officiating is all the proof I need to know that game narratives are controlled by dirty refs.

The NFL isn't interested in having full time refs, is it because:

A. The league can't afford it? bigsmile

B. The league doesn't care that their referees (supposedly stalwart members of the community) make questionable calls like clockwork which infuriates fans and gamblers alike? an_speechless

C. Any mistakes the referees make are entirely above board and are simply errors in judgment...after all they are human? an_baby

D. The league controls the outcomes of some games with calls and noncalls through the use of unethical refs like Corrente? an_light

Well the PAC 12 fired him as head of Officiating for dubious calls helping the conference leaders ( USC & OREGON ) amongst others ....

There is no way in my opinion the WWE wants the Titans in the Super Bowl ....

I have the Titans at 80-1 to win the AFC for 40/3200 and another $2100 if they play SF , and 1120 if the play GB ....If they had a 47 % chance , with Corrente reffing I'd give them a 30% chance ....

You can beat Corrente like the Bills did in the Steelers game , but it took the Steelers fumbling after he gave them a free first and goal after a phantom facemask ..

One thing in your favor...with both spreads at 7, the books will need one of the dogs to win outright to kill the teasers.  If I am the NFL, I don't care that much who makes it out of the NFC (slight lean to GB because of Rodgers) but KC is way more preferable than Tenn (style of play + Mahomes is the future at QB).

Agree don't think the NFL cares about who makes it out of the NFC ....

The Titans might need serious help from the league to WIN this Sunday ...
I can't see why the NFL would help Tennessee ...
Maybe the Chiefs won't need help , but I think Corrente was brought in to help if needed.

uh Vinovich literally let the titans do whatever they wanted all game. Not one holding penalty (offense or defense) on titans while they played an incredibly physical game while they called at least 4 big penalties against the Ravens.

Does that mean that they were holding, but the refs chose not to call it? And that EVERY Ravens penalty was called?

Oh, My, God, if only 2 more flags were thrown on the Titans it would of been fair. And the Ravens might of covered.

Truth of the matter is, the Titans o line has been plowing people over. They have been barely passing in their last 3 games. On pass plays is where an o lineman is more inclined to try and hold. On runs they are moving forward, and they are very good at moving bodies.

It's so Blatantly obvious they this sports business is shady and only cares about making money ....

A Bazillion dollar company has part time refs deciding their games ....
Eventually one of these refs will squeal or get caught. .

Lol the amount of penalties is irrelevant .They call the game the way needed to for the desired result.

What the frick  does labeling them part time have to do with anything ? They do as their employers  tell them and you have no clue what they really get paid.

IN MY OPINION= 

You can't look at the Number of flags to see the game manipulation ... Corrente often keeps the call count fairly even , and then Crushes a team in the 4th qtr on key plays ..

I don't think every game is Fixed , but when the league wants to do it , The Refs will help whoever , whenever ..

Doesn't always work though ....The Refs tried to screw the Bills twice this season  ( at Cowboys and Steelers ). There were  5-8 blatant no calls that benefited the Dallas and Pitt ., Combined with 5+ calls on Bills that were beyond ridiculous ( Dak Runs over White , Hughes gets personal foul , holding on Morse where he doesn't even block anyone behind the play , phantom face mask in Steelers game for critical first and goal , PI when Cooper pushes off , roughing the passer ,) 

On the flip side the Bills were allowed to hold the entire 4th quarter vs Bengals , 3 out of 5 plays , Dawkins and Knox tackle Bengals defenders , Bills run 2 pick plays on a row to get game winning Score 
Titans game the Bills Mafia took over and Nashville and the game Wardens rewarded the Bills with a free pass on holding for most of the game .. WR Duke Williams held the corner for 5; consecutive running plays ..Lawson hit Marrotta twice in the 4th , the 2nd one he should have been thrown out ..
Bills blatantly false start on key drive ( no call )

Some of the officiating has been good this playoffs ....That Bills game was pretty bad for calls on both teams ..Kevin Johnson was allowed to hold Hopkins during the 1st qtr 4-5 times ... CORRENTE sucks ...



Titans are and have been playing some excellent football for the better part of 10 weeks ....
They should have won the division , that 14 point swing with the Strip fumble at the goal line was a huge 14 point swing vs the Texans in their first matchup ...

The Refs definitely have allowed the Titans to play a very physical style wirhout much interference for the better part of the last 6 games ...
