I swear to Christ the NY media gets worse and worse every day that goes by.

You are right about Jet fans wallowing in their own misery. 4-5 of my best friends in life are hardcore Jet fans and they are terrible as fans. I guess if a young QB in his rookie year isn't Tom Brady right off the bat, he's awful and deserves to be booed and run off the team. You know because the list of QB's that are all pros right off the bat is a giant list.

    I saw that as well.

Back page of the post and daily news was 'bring back fireman Ed!" A MUST WIN for the jets playoff life and Fireman Ed dominates the back pages! Cooooooommmme on!

I know 4-5 x 10 as well. They are awful. Only eagles fans are worse (and I say that having never met Raiders fans from LA/Oak.)

tbh man this seems too easy to take the dolphins.  Dolphins have been winning / keeping it close against decent teams their last 4 games.

Jets have been stinking it up.

But yet the dolpins are getting points here ???  It seems way too easy and I can see the public firing on the dolphins.

Dolphins just lost a game in the last few minutes, where they should have beat the panthers.  I can see the dolphins being exhausted.

I don't really trust geno smith, but just from an angle thing, and going against what vegas wants you to do.  I'm firing big on the jets.

Also going back to Bob Scucci  on the behind the bets podcast.  He 100% winners on all of his plays, over 2 months or whatever. I don't feel great about betting the jets, but I'm not fading this guy.

    Back to bob Scucci again???

Hello? He WORKS FOR THE BOOKS. He needs action a certain way to limit exposure and probably has to high a ticket count on the Fins so he throws the Jets out there.

And he'll need to Jets too. Good!

Geno Smith CAN BE PULLED IN THIS GAME!

Imagine saying that about Brady Manning or even Tannehill? Never would.

But with Geno it's true! He can be pulled this game and you're putting your money on it. Big?!?!?

Big?!?!?

This line outdoes that one opening at -7.5 in terms of being confounding. I am trying to find reasons to take the texans and am still studying it. After that SNF pats win, this line could be -13 and the public would still pound the pats so I can't see why they'd open it so low...

So I am still looking and studying after this game

Play poker? Nice! 1-2NL 2-5nl or higher?

Yeah, I read in another thread where all of the Pats road wins have been by single digits (I haven't looked and confirmed, just some observations at this point).

I was leaning Denver in this one. Broncos are gonna be pissed after that debacle in New England. I said that the Chiefs can't win in a shootout (as proven against San Diego last week) and let's face it, the Chargers are NOT Peyton and the Broncos. But still looking into it.

After skimming the board a bit----I really liked SDG at home against Cincinnati. I was also leaning TB with the 7.5 points against Carolina. I also was leaning Philly -3.5 (Hope it gets to 3) against AZ.

Again, I am still looking at things…but wanted to get to Vegas tomorrow night, place my NFL wagers so I don't have to deal with the lines come Sunday morning. Then hit the tables.

I play 1-2/1-3 NLHE…..I don't have the proper bankroll to play in a 2-5 game, at least not consistently.

You're missing the point buddy.  Scucci has been 100% correct on all of his picks.  ZERO LOSERS.   Now all of a sudden this week he gives out a loser because he wants jets action ?  No.

The amount of people that actually bet at the Orleans casino in vegas, compared the the nationwide audience of the show, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's less than 5 people total.

Fade the easy pick, simple as that.  If you look at the box scores, the pick SCREAMS bet the dolphins.

    Oh yeah, what's his record?

    Do you know it?

I'll bet 10-1 you do not knew this alleged 'perfect' record.

Home and home so close for KC really goes against Denver IMO. Line is getting out of hand at this point. Denver is -7 at home 2 weeks ago now -6 away? What?

Happens in the NBA all the time and the split is inevitable, and this is a unique situation in the NFL to have a home and home so close.

And I saw the SD game too. But I cannot stress how many times SD had burned me. I just can't back them this week, not that it's not a sound pick.

TB we agree on and but I like teasing them through thirteen.

Same here with poker. I can play 2-5 effectively but I don't want to bring three buyins ($1,500) just to play 5 hours of poker.

No I don't know his record, but I know I've put money on every one of his picks, or picks he said the sharps were one, and I'm 100%.

    maybe 8 plays or so.

It certainly did. Not sure where you are from but a lot of people said Jets or no play for that game.

And I knew you wouldn't know Scucci's record

    Maybe 8. Yeah sure...

I always pay attention to scals write-ups, do I always agree or take all of his plays, no I don't but I will say this about his plays, I have won a hell of a lot more money than ive loss when on the same side as his plays    so scalabrine keep them coming because always very informative and a good read to boot   I may be using the dolphins as my survivor pick this week in my local pool so that's how much I agree with the play   by the way im from WV and a lifelong WVU fan and geno had a great start to his last year but when that weather turned cold boy did he shrink so for me that could be the icing on the cake and I agree about the way the dolphins loss last week is even more of a reason to like the play

Well I know he hasn't lost for me in 2 months, and they put on 1 show a week.  So that sounds like about 8 to me.

Hey when it gets this late in the season and you picked well enough to still bel in the survivor pool, these are the only type of games left. And I'd take it as my pick too, if I were in such a pool

That's great. A WVU alum dropping in the thread to offer Geno tidbits...

Finding the bone is your job and the NE game and NO game are not the bone as I detailed in post 44.

They can run the ball? The jets starting RB might not play and if he does, he might not be effective. Their backup is not impressive by any means.

Their defense gave up 49 points to Cincy , 37 to the Bills and have and have been faltering.

These are myths you are passing off as empirical fact and I am trying to get you off this square-type thinking.

Yeap and to sum things up... THere are teams at certain points of the season that beats good teams and losses to bad ones... In retrospect they win when they are away and lose when they come home... If you sit there and do a count like i do... You will find a winning pattern... Offcoarse it takes alot of work and every year is different.. The torch gets handed of to another city each year... Listen to Scalabrine,, he knows his stuff...

    This analogy is absolutely fantastic.

I'm new to the site so I'm not going to bash but "C'MON MAN", Jets have one of the best defensive lines in the league and the Dolphins left side of their offensive line is in shambles.  Jets squeak out a win here because of the defense and the fact that Mike Wallace can't catch a ball.

I leave you my projected score

    Miami 17.2 @ Jets 14.5

Any side you decide, the most reliable one is UNDER.
