The 2008 Nfl season....

Now lets look over what i thought going into the season.......And where were at now!!!

AFC EAST

1) PATS 11-5
Well it looks like they will win 11 games just as i had sad and they still may well win the division...Just new that they were not as good as last years club!!

2) Bills 9-7
Well they will fall short of 9 wins and finish last in the division has to be disappointing considering the way they started the season....

3) Jets 9-7
Maybe right here as well with the jets winning 9 games but truly disappointing as it was there for them to win it and they could not....

4) Dolphins 6-10
Well i said they would be better than last year and they are and i new parcells was a genious thought in his 2nd year they would contend not his 1st....If belicheck is a genious this is were he gets it....Parcells does it every where he goes....


AFC NORTH

1) Steelers 10-6
Was right on here they will probably win 12 games but they did win the north and it's about defense and always has been....

2) Browns 8-8
Well i new this team would fall off they were incredible lucky last season this team must make changes and the coach must go....

3) Ravens 7-9
The defense was even better than i thought and it did not hurt to have 3 backs contribute for them and flacco played well and did not make to many mistakes....

4) Bengals 7-9
Thought they would finish last but the browns to care of that i believe just alot of problems on this team need to be worked out...


NFC SOUTH

1) Colts 12-4
A win on sunday gives them 12 wins and thought there was a chance they did not win this division there playing good ball right now but this team is not as good as years past.....

2) Jags 11-5
It went bad for this team in week #1 when they lost 3 O-linemen and they never could recover because there a smashmouth running team and to much was put on garrard after that 1st week....

3) Titans 7-9
Like i said i have always loved jeff fisher he gets more out of the least than any coach....The defense was great but the offense surprised me but with coach fisher i should not have been so surprised....

4) Texans 7-9
They may well finish with 7 wins but they will not finish in last place in the division this year and good for them.....


AFC WEST

1) Chargers 12-4
Well they will not win 12 games but more than likely they will win the west division sunday nite.....

2) Broncos 9-7
What a disappointment they had this division won and now they are more than likely going to be watching the playoffs again this year but in there defense they have had a ton of injuries maybe next year....


NFC NEXT....      

NFC EAST

1) Cowboys 13-3
Well there not going to win 13 games but with a win sunday they will make the playoffs.....Really should have been better but just way to much going on caused this tem to decline from last year....

2) Eagles 10-6
Well i thought they would make the playoffs and they still could but it's a long shot i think this team just underachieved i know alot of people blame mcnabb but i think alot has to do with coaching maybe it is time for coach reid to go.....

3) Giants 9-7
I did have them making the playoffs they stuck together and played great football all year and won the nfc east and very well repeat as champions!!!

4) Redskins 8-8
Well it looks like they may win 8 or 9 games like i thought and maybe under coach zorn this team can improve going into his 2nd year as head coach they defintley have some pieces.....


NFC NORTH

1) Bears 9-7
I had them winning 9 games thats where were at right now i had us winning the north and we still might...I thought forte would be a stud he is orton has looked good at tims our pass defense can be better....Hope we can get some help from the giants on sunday....

2) Vikings 8-8
Slightly better record than i thought but knew they had a shot at the division with the talent they had and sunday they may win the north division but bears fans are still holding out hope.....

3) Packers 8-8
I new this team would not be as good as last years club you can say what you will about favre but when the game came down to the 4th peroid he came thru more often than not they won 5 games last season in the 4th peroid how many this year....Rodgers will learn!!!!

4) Lions 4-12
Just one of the worst sports franchises the last  5 years and i was generous in giving them 4 wins but was dead on with them finishing last in the north again!!!!!


NFC SOUTH

1) Saints 11-5
Well drew brees gave it his best effort but he cannot play defense and they had injury problems at running back but he still put up great numbers throwing the ball but this team fell short of goals.....

2) Bucs 9-7
Well it looks like they will win 10 games but i did say thy would be in the playoff hunt going into the final week but fall short and that looks like what just might happen to them.....

3) Panthers 6-10
I was wrong about there defense they played great defense all year and that is why they just might win this division come sunday i new the talent was there on offense.....

4) Falcons 2-14
I was completely wrong here and way off this team surprised everyone this year and matt ryan has to be rookie of the year and has to be atleast in the discussion for mvp......This is the cinderella team for this season no question....


NFC WEST

1) Seahawks 9-7
This team was hit with the injury bug all year and could never recover in this very bad division....

2) Cardinals 8-8
Well they won the division but they did nothing more than what they have done in the past 5 years just so happens it was enough this year because of the bad division.....

3) 49ers 6-10
They will improve with singletary just give him some time this team does have talent....

4) Rams 5-11
Just a whole lot of problems this year from firing the coach to benching there Qb may be awhile before they get better.....
