That was a CATCH by Dez
First of all it's Karma for last week. Second, the Calvin Johnson catch is the perfect example of this, they referenced it, not a catch. That's the precedent.

Dude, learn the rules of the game. The same precedent is in play for a catch in the end zone when no "football move" made. A player must maintain possession through the ground. Whether any part of his body touches the ground is immaterial. You guys are clueless!

If taking two steps and then diving for the endzone isn't a football move then nothing is .
Also there was no clear and convincing evidence that the ball ever touched the ground regardless to overturn the call on the field. So then you must move on to the question of did he maintain possession ? No he didn't you could say but he already made the football move and he caught it off the bobble anyway so that doesn't matter

What you believe in your interpretation of the play doesn't mean d!ck. Both the officials and Mike Perairra (however you spelled it) analyze the play differently than you and I agree...even though it probably cost me money on the over bet I placed.

That was by rules of the NFL not a catch and it was a very easy to call for replay to make. It amazes me how many people bet on these games with their hard earned money and don't even know the basic rules of the league they are betting. Ball must be controlled throughout the entire process of the catch, which is was clearly not. Easy incompletion call.
Howie Long is one of the best players to ever play the game and he agrees with me so I guess he doesn't know the basic rules either

caught at the 5 yard line, then 3 small steps forward with a dive that has his knee and then elbow down and then finally the arm with ball extends and then pops up and then he still recatches the ball.
Not sure what the hell you could possibly want besides this?
Lets blow the super slow mo replay up 500% and then check to see if your shoe touched the blade of grass, etc, etc. All of this bullsh!t to decide the outcome of games.
NFL is becoming so hard to watch.
Totally disgusting.

The intricacies of the basic rules are not going to influence the way your betting. You have no way to handicap the " basic rules" to make this statement is correct in people needing to know rules of the game, but handicapping it is impossible. It amazes me that you think knowing all the rules gives you an edge.

SO if a football move is made then once he is down it"s a catch?
If this is the case, how is 2 steps to the endzone and lunging for the goal line before he's down not a football move?

This is pointless. It's the rule. Here's the Calvin Johnson catch. Listen to them after the flag.
Another BS call which its title appropriately demonstrates....In that play it is obvious and clear and convincing evidence that the ball hit the ground so it may be easier to overturn than this one even. still horrible call
