by this, I simply mean teams that will fail absolutely, or fail relative to their expectations.

Chicago will suck
Dallas will suck
Minnesota will suck
New York Jets will suck
Indianapolis will suck 

still to be determined:

Pittsburgh
New York Giants
Buffalo (sorry New Yorkers)
Arizona (major qb problems)
Raiders (ya never know how bad they'll be)

Chicago, Dallas, and Minnesota will all have problems under qb.
I predict that Favre will be injured and unavailable by week 6.  Romo will continue to blow opportunities, while Cutler is nearing the end of the road if he throws the number of INT's I expect him to throw.  Plus, no line and bad receivers.  He''ll force things way too often and throw those pics.

NEW YORK JETS are wayyy overrated, while Indy is just old and out of money so they're in trouble once the injury bug hits.

Where do the Lions fall into your pecking order?

I think the Raiders will play well this year. They'll be even better if they let Gradkowski play QB. He can read defensive coverages, he's mobile and he has an arm. What more do you need from a QB.

The Lions are expected to be better.  How can they be any worse? I think they'll win their way out of the cellar, so I see 'em living up to expectations.

I just see the Colts as a team lacking depth after their first string, and I believe it catches up them this year.

Carolina, Jax, T.B. etc. will fall in line w/ expectations, which is they're bad!.  Actually, I'm thinking T.B. will be better than predicted.

But the teams that "suck" are the teams that will generally be worse than expectations, so I didn't mention the above examples.

I'm thinking Denver will land around their predicted .500 or just below; however I"M THINKING THEY WIN TOMORROW!

take the RL + payout and go w/ DENVER!!!

seriously, I'm from Colorado and I fully expect them to win this meaningless game.  someone else around here loves the under too, but I'm going with the payout on the ml.

Manning could probably be on the worst team in the NFL and they wouldn't suck. So as long as he stays healthy............

Arizona won't even sniff the playoffs this year, and even in that weakass division, I still love them under 7.5 wins. That lousy defense will really be exposed when that offense starts doing 3 and outs like nobody's business. Rather than beating teams 38-35, they'll just be losing 35-10.

Yeah romo has sucked? All he has done is break dallas cowboys single season records and gave dallas their first playoff win in 13 years?

Yea, that's a good call, the under w/ Arizona.  I like it!

Bills, I just can't tell.  They're playing better, I mean showing more improvement, in the preseason than I expected.  But, then again it's just preseason.  Not a fan of new coach Bailey, and I heard how he handled the recent ruckus with some young fans during preseason workouts.  Those fans behaved like idiots though, giving the team a hard time during training camp!  WTF!

The Bills always play tough as a homedog. They are a homedog week 1 vs Miami but I dont think they can cover that game.

I see Lions over/under win total is 5.  I looked at their schedule.  Instead of sweating out games week after week, why not bet it all (or most) on under 5?  How the heck will they get 5 wins (or more not to push) out of that schedule?

-I could see that happening for sure.  Both teams are improved after many years in the toilet.  Past play causing them to be overlooked.  But first, they've gotta actually win some games that matter!

Two teams will be sucked on my list are Browns & Eagles...Don't be surprised if Browns goes 15-1 this season. Jake & Colt..are jerks!
