He took a prop before the playoffs (or maybe after the 1st or 2nd rounds) that the AFC rep would win the Super Bowl. Had the Eagles won at AZ, then Pitt probably would've been a 3 to 4 point fav, so he has 4 whole points to play with in case he wants to take AZ +7 and hope to hit the middle.
I saw this and was too much a coward to pull the trigger.

I like your Warner and Parker props. Here are some that I have been looking at
Player to be named 2009 Superbowl XLIII MVP: Hines Ward +1500 (can he get his 2nd?)
Willie Parker Total Receiving Yards: Over ½ Receiving Yards Even (just 1 catch)
Double Result: Tie / Steelers +1800 and Cardinals / Steelers +500 (i didn't find any value with Pitt / Pitt -150)
Good luck Double
H Ward might get his 2nd but he would need a Monster Game ...I think there is great value in BIG Ben if you can get +190 or more ... Harrison or Woodley at 30-1 or more has excellent long shot potential .... I am shopping these odds daily...
You would think Parker should catch one ball ... but he only had 3 Catches this year , but the Price is right ....
I Like the Double result you posted Tie then Steelers at 18-1 ... nice value ...
Thanks For posting your possible Plays ...BOL on all your Wagers Brother

Being a Browns Fan this Super Bowl will be painful, but I think Arizona is a rejuvinated team. I think they have "turned a switch" like NBA teams do in the playoffs and are playing well enough to cover but not win.
What do you think?
You could be spot on ... The Cards are Red hot right now ... I think they shut it down after they got off to a Huge lead in the crappy NFC West ... Turned it back on at the right time ... I feel much better having the Steelers -3 than -7... Right now I think Pittsburgh has a 67% chance of winning and a 53% Chance of winning by 7+....
Your Browns were screwed over by O-Line Injuries, a Horrible HC and a Star WR that could not hold onto the Ball at key times...Cleveland should win 8+ Games next year ...IMO ...

BOL Double, will be waiting anxiously for your write-up.
Hey dford202, painful? You should be used to it by now! lol as I am.
Yeah I am leaning right now on a 10 Pittsburgh Win but I would not bet the House on it ... I need to do alot of work over the next Week... But I think I will just be adding Prop Plays at this point ...

You are spot on Brother ... I took it last Friday ... Thinking the SB Line would be Pittsburgh -4 + vs the Eagles or 6+ vs the Cards ....
If the Ravens were in the Steelers spot i think the game might have been a Pickem ...
Right now what do you think will Happen to the Line ??

I'm about as far from being an expert as one can be, but there are a couple of things I've noticed:
1) From the end of the Pitt/Balt game to early Monday morning, the line went from opening Pitt -7 -110 to Pitt -7 EV at Treasure Island (an MGM book where I happened to be over the MLK holiday weekend), which probably means alot of early (smart?) money was coming in on Arizona. On VegasInsider.com, it's back to Pitt -7 -110 at the MGM books.
2) The Las Vegas Sports Consultants actually had the line opening with Pitt -1, so that 6-point jump, no doubt influenced by the public, means something.
On a visceral level I want to take the Steelers. I'm thinking they'll do to Kurt Warner what the Eagles did to him in that 3rd quarter Sunday. However, seeing how Ken Whisenhunt made the adjustments necessary for the game-winning drive (I'm just going to assume it was him more than the OC) affirms my belief that Whisenhunt has one of the best minds in the game, one that could scheme against LeBeau's D and lead the Cards to victory. Don't forget, Whisenhunt was a walk-on at Georgia Tech, so his intelligence is unassailable.
That said, Vegas will be loathe to move this line, but if they do, I'm sure it would be Pitt -6.5.
Right now, I'd take AZ +7 and the team over of 20. But I definitely want to read more about the matchups of Boldin and Fitzgerald against the Pitt secondary before determining just how many units I'm willing to risk.

For saying that you are far from an expert... I think you are being way too hard on yourself ...
Your Breakdown/Insight Looks to be Spot on and well thought out ... On Both Sides you make strong cases for The Cards and Steelers ..... I totally agree it will be an excellent Chess Match between fantastic Coaches....
Your Zona Over 20 Pos/ Wager seems to make alot of sense to me if your backing the Cards ... I could see Pittsburgh getting a Cheap TD late and Covering but the Cards scoring between 21-24...
BOL on all your Wagers Brother
Thank You for adding this great piece to my thread
