Richard Sherman Weighs In On Superbowl 58

One of the guys I value listening to at this time of year is Richard Sherman. He offers up a unique perspective and is almost always thought provoking:

I like what Michael Irvin had to say in this video clip, this game will be different from the last SB that two teams met back in 2020. 

Brock Purdy's scramble ability in the Detroit and Green Bay's game reminds me of Steve Young. There are three potential three good runners, Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy in every downs that Kansas City defense has to face in the next game.

In order to keep Patrick Mahomes off the field as long as possible, San Francisco would probably have to run the ball often, and more importantly, effectively on top of some well designed crossing routes and screen passes by Purdy. 

Time consuming long drives might also benefit the Under in this game, I guess.

That’s a LOSS for Sherman, he needs a haircut , all that extra weight hes been carrying up there for years is obviously now causing him to have brain cramps 

hopefully he wasn’t the guy who moved  the # at the westgate the other day , wouldn’t want Sherm to have to unretire at his age for some practice squad pay cheques

He has a regular season handicapping show on youtube and some of his insights were of value to me. He is not just another bloviating, polite, gasbag. He will speak what is on his mind. You find no value in his take on things, so horseman pass by.

KC isn't the quick strike team of the past and happy to shorten the game with 6-8 minute drives of their own.

Interesting video. Anyone notice Sherm had a custom made jewelry with the All Seeing Eye (or the Eye of RA) ending in an S symbol. He is a smart man. Well educated Stanford man. I wonder what he is saying.
