Sorry if this has been brought up, but...

Giants played the 49ers, Packers and Patriots during the regular season. Lost two and won one. They got their revenge vs the Packers and 49ers. They beat the Patriots during the season so I believe the tables will be turning this time around as the Patriots will win this by 4 or more...

Does anybody know the regular season winner/loser's record in Superbowl rematches? I know it doesn't happen that often but still curious as to how many times it was a sweep and how many times it was a split.

I noticed that pattern as well.

Last season, the Jets defeating the Steelers in the regular season then losing the Steelers in the playoffs.

Two seasons ago, the Colts losing to the Jets in the regular season then defeating the Jets in the playoffs.

Then again, the Colts defeated the Ravens in the regular season and playoffs, two season ago.
