I was in the box all weekend and couldn't comment, but the first thing I would have said is that Indiana, while they get dominated in the W-L aspect of the recent series, actually hold their own ATS with the last 4 years games being decided by 3, 14, 28, and 19 respectively. Last years 52-49 should have indicated that this was a no play as some teams just are able to hang around with good teams, so 35 was a bit too much.... also with Michigan on deck, pretty much screaming "no play"
First off, you can't even pronounce Indy's QB's name, never mind know who he is without looking back at the OP for his name.
Second, yeah BIG LOOKAHEAD game to the Mighty Wolverines in what ranks among their worst seasons ever (and is also scandal ridden).

I'm in college fantasy football leagues, I know every conference, I know who the players are. Write ups are great to have no matter who does it, his are pretty informative from a point of view.... the problem is that in his mind, his opinion is correct no matter what the outcome, and his ego is out of control. When he said to another poster "People would rather get a losing pick from me rather than a winning pick from you" just proved that this guy has lost it.
The good thing is he only plays a couple of college games a year so we don't really have to deal with him..... NFL people on the other hand don't have it so good.

If any of you studied psychology you would understand that more often than not you make a decision and THEN create your reasonings.
I agree with this 100%. I feel most write-ups are done as an attempt to help the author convince themselves they made a good play, and not others. There are so many stats and angles available that you can do a pretty lengthy write-up to support just about any play.
For me personally, I use a "think long, think wrong" approach, and really trust my gut. Which is why if/when I do any "write-ups" it's a lot of times just a sentence or two "blurb" about the play.
I would say > 90% of the write ups (my own included) do not contain much information that isn't already factored into the line.
But to each his own, and as I said, everyone has their own approach, the bottom line is are you picking more winners than losers.

Capping contests of cap offs are the quickest way to prove NOTHING that was ever invented.
Why would you think Scal (or anyone for that matter) gives a $hit if they can cap better than you?? Be happy you are picking/posting winners and offer some insight into your picks, or constructive counter points to others, that have the forum to do this.
I fail to see in any capacity how challenging others here (not to mention for a measly 10 games) does anyone any good.
