Back on track after crushing the book last weekend, hitting with the Texans ATS, Giants ATS, Giants ML, AND best of all the Giants ML + Over parlay! Ended up being my biggest winning day of the season and looking to continue ending a great season on a super strong note with just a few games to go!
Today's Plays:
So far, just 1 locked in as I'm still debating how I wanna play the AFC game. Locked in and LOVING:
49eRs -2
I liked the Giants in the spot they were in last week....but the luck stops here! Bad spot today for this Giants team which has been playing outta their minds after they didn't even look like they deserved to be in the playoffs. After an embarassing loss to the Skins, and losing 5 of 6 overall, they have reeled off 4 straight wins.....and some very emotional wins at that. To end the regular season, they had to win out against in-state rival Jets...then they HAD to win against huge division rival Cowboys to get into the playoffs. Then they stop the Falcons and follow that up with a very gutsy performance against the 15-1 defending superbowl champs whom they lost to in another emotional game earlier this season.
Almost sounds like I'm making a case for them here, but in fact it's the complete opposite. After all these huge emotional games, now they have to travel across country to face a fired up 49ers team who has been making statements all year long. No more cupcake D's for the Gmen today. I just don't see the Giants making this long trip across country, after playing so many emtional games, and being able to play a very physical game against a VERY physical Defense. This is a horrible spot for the Giants today and the 49ers capitalize with a strong run game and physical D that is gonna bring out that crooked face on Eli that we all know and love.
BIG play on the 9er's today!
Be back with my other play shortly!

The trip accross country means little or nothing to a team that never loses ON THE ROAD in the playoffs and is playing out of their mind as you pointed out.
Should have stayed with the NYG and its not too late to buy back.
If you do, your welcome.

Giants arrived late Saturday in San Francisco. With a late start today, I think the G-men are not going to adjust well with the time change. They're going to be a little tired and slow come game time.

I have to first admit...my intial early week lean was on the Pats, but the more I researched and broke down this game, the more and more I liked the Ravens in this spot. The Pat's looked great in their romping last week, but quite frankly I'm not using that game in my research. This Patriots D is dreadful and the Ravens offense, which is well known for struggling at times, should be able to score enough and at the same time chew up some nice chunks of clock today. Rice should have a BIG day against this Pats run D, especially in the screen game....and if there is ever a game for Flacco to try and make a statement, it's today. He's been criticized all year by the media AND his teammates...and now he's in the AFC championship game going up against the 31st ranked passing Defense in the league...the legendary Patriots...with a chance to send his team to the Superbowl and a big upset. Good spot today for Joe.
And with all that said, I haven't even mentioned the Ravens D....lightyears ahead of the Pat's D. Now of course the Pat's O is lightyears ahead of the Ravens, but the difference today will be the physical D of the Ravens and the ground and pound style of offense. The 1st quarter will be key....and I fully expect the Ravens D to be as physical as we've ever seen em and try and rattle Bradey early and set the tempo. It's also going to be very important for Flacco and the Ravens to get points on their first drive or two and get that confidence going, which I expect them to do.
Should be a pretty interesting and entertaining game, but I'll gladly take the 7.5 in a championship game with one of the best D's in the league against one of the worst. Matchup favors the Ravens to keep this one close.
And as I did with the Giants last week in a matchup I felt favored them as a huge dog, I'm gonna play a small parlay with the Ravens ML +250 with the 49ers -2....$200 = $1140

Where was Baltimore's D in the 4 games on the road losses? The Ravens lost 4 games all year. All four of those games came on the road (Titans, Jaguars, Seahawks, Chargers). Now their going up against Brady and company... the play may be the over...

I hear ya....but most of those games were very tough places to play and the D wasn't that bad if you break down the defensive numbers...it was much more on the offense. Today, they go up against a very bad Pat's D and they will be able to put up points and control the clock with the run game. I really like the Ravens to win this game, but certainly stay within a TD.
