He is obviously washed up and folds under pressure. Eli is a better QB than him.

So many short sighted people- one game and a judgement is made.

Peyton had to play a tougher defense than Brees had to.

Peyton is mediocre in the playoffs. He didn't play that well in the Super Bowl he did win. He's WAY overrated.

Who's attempting to be humorous now?

I hate the fucking Giants but Eli beat one the best teams of the decade to win his Super Bowl.

Fuck Eli - he threw two 'picks' on that last drive to get the TD in SB 42 - one was absolutely atrocious - it hit Asante Samuel softly in the hands and he dropped it. That was the game right there. If Samuel squeezes the ball like my aunt would've been able to, that game is over. Anybody that seriously puts Eli over Peyton is pretty fucking stupid. Eli stumbled through the second half of that game like a drooling Mongoloid and got the luckiest bounces of his life in a about a 15 minute window to win that SB.

I guess the Giant defense had no part in why they won the game right?

Eli plays on one of the best coached teams, one of the best OL in the league and their defense even though they were average this year was better than New Orleans AND Indy during the regular season.

He is as good as the team around him and that has always been the case. When he first started the team was putrid (even though Warner had a winning record as starter), they improved the defense and OL and HIS results improved.

He is serviceable and middle of the pack, but nowhere near as good as Peyton..not even close.

He is serviceable and middle of the pack, but nowhere near as good as Peyton..not even close.

The Giants D was very good when they won but the offense still had to score against a very good D and Eli came through under tremendous pressure.

One of the best coached teams? Please. Coughlin is another example of mediocrity. I'll give you the Giants O-line being above average but besides Burress, Eli had very little to work with.

Giants D gave up like the second most points in the NFL this season. How are they better than the Saints or Colts?

Peyton is a paper champion. He has great stats and can make great throws in the regular season.

Not even close to true.  That Saints D was bent over and waiting for the spanking but Can't-well took the foot off the gas pedal and the rest as you say is history.  The INDY defense was much more impressive than the Saints defense (absent one big play of course by the Saints).

That being said, anyone who doesn't think that Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL or should retire is crazy.  Peyton had a good game (absent again one mistake).  By the way, I am NOT a Colts fan.

nope, and even if Manning tied it, Brees gets the Saints into field goal position to win it anyway.
